    Thumler motor disassembly

    Hi all!

So i got a Thumler's setup from ebay a while back, and it's been working well so far. The only thing is that the motor is spewing crud all over the place. I'd like to disassemble it, clean it and give it a good gollop of grease to make it last as long as possible.

That said, I can't find a way to take it apart. It looks like it's got rivets on both ends. Anyone take one of these apart?

This is where you oil the motor.

Need to lightly oil the shaft bearings too. You can find parts you may need here:

Replacement parts for Thumler's Model B rock tumblers - motor, bearings, guides, shafts, retainer clips, barrels, retainer rings and lids

Curious to see what's falling out of your motor.

It looks like old carbon fouling type crap along with dirty as hell oil. I mean, I can throw in more oil but I'd really like to clean it out if I can.
