It was a good performer, and one year, one of the countries' team coach took all of my PMC ammo and traded me with Winchester ammo. I still shot good with the traded ammo.
That PMC is out of business, a company in Korea bought the name PMC for ammo and is using it now. The ammo all comes in from Korea.

Tried a box of the .45 ACP PMC Bronze at Reeds indoor range and ended up buying a case of 1000 for 339 from them.

PMC was originally Korean owned. Now it went back to them I guess. Next time I visit Korea, I will tour their facility and Daewoo Precision.

oh BTW PMC (at least the 45ACP) smell, that's one downside to them.

PMC's American factory was always owned by the Korean parent company.

Poongsan Metal Corporation of Korea was founded in 1968 by Ryu Chan-u. He was considered the "godfather" of the Korean defense industry. PMC originally opened up a US subsidiary in the late 1970's so that they could import ammo from the Poongsan factory in Korea. The American subsidiary was first called Patton Morgan Corp. and then later changed it's name to Pan Metal Corp. Later on they started importing ammo from Mexico and the Phillipines too.

The American subsidiary has always been run by one of the children of the founder of Poongsan Metal Corporation. I think his daughter, Mi Ryu Ahn, made the decision to shut down the PMC/Eldorado Cartridge factory in Nevada. That factory only made PMC's premium hunting and self defense ammo. Everything else has always been imported.
