Anyone else get screwed by Freedom Munitions?

Freedom Munitions stated on their website to place orders by December 20th in order to received by January 1st. I placed my order on December 19th, card was immediately charged for the full amount. My order status is "Awaiting fulfillment" since then. I emailed asking if the order will be filled and shipped/delivered before the 1st. No reply.

So, I called today and asked about it... They apologized and said they could not get the order out in time and they will refund me my money or send it to my FFL dealer. Now that is biggest load of horse I've ever heard. It was only 1500 rounds of .223! Anyone else's orders get screwed?

Sorry to hear that. Call again and maybe a different CS person will say "Oh OK, as long as it was ordered before the 1st, it's ok". Or not.

But really, we knew about this stupid law for over a year. You can't blame them that thousands of people (including myself) waited until the last week/month to order ammo)

Maybe you should have not waited until the last second to order. People who were thinking ordered their ammo months ago or at leat last month or the 1st part of Dec.

Yes you got screwed. Yes you should of ordered sooner. Is it their fault? Partly and it is also your fault. You screwed up also.

Not the OP's fault. He ordered in time according to their own stated delivery date.

Another reason to reload though. It's crazy not to at this point.

Same here, -ordered on Dec 15th and it still says "Awaiting fulfillment"
I contacted customer service but no go.
--just wanted to top off my surplus so no big deal.

edit: this is part of the email I got today (1/3/2018) :

I was told by another online dealer that as long as the order was placed & paid for by the close of business on their last work day in 2017, it could be shipped in 2018.
I would call FM back & push the issue.

During the winter the east coast moves at a snails pace. You should have prepared better.

Same thing happened to me, got email on the 20th saying last day to order, ordered a case of 38sp, still shows awaiting fulfillment.sent email on the first, was referred not cs, still waiting, at least they didn't charge my card
