Honestly, I'm not surprised that Wal Mart did this. The whole can't sell both alcohol and bullets at a mall just sounds like a crock. The fact that so many Wal Marts have had their ammo sections stripped, to me, just shows that Wal Mart never had any intention of continuing ammo sales at most of their stores.
The La Mesa Wal Mart did have a notice that they'd applied for a license to sell liquor. My thought was that there's higher profit in beer than bullets and a LOT less hassle.Comment

Walmart Ca has no ffl so they cannot sell ammo till they receive vendors license from our oh so well organized state.Comment

The two I would go by, still sell. Actually, three. Industry, La Habra and Chino.
Don't need anything, but, they are selling. Prices are what they were before the 1st. DoB, nothing more, as it stands.Comment

Quantities were down, but they had what I wanted (5 boxes)

SuperWalmart in Santa Clarita today, around Noon, not only is all the ammo disappeared, but the locked cases are staged with boxed air rifles so there aren't empty shelves. Same air rifles are loose on open shelves down the aisle.Comment
