Is this normal on a Lock & Load set up?

You know it's always true and correct if you see it on YT.

The Presenter is doing his best showing the camera how to full length resize .223s with a Hornady Lock & Load die inserted atop a Press.

At the top of the cam stroke I clearly see the die & contraption pop up and down!

I don't want to throw rocks at the him or the products so I'm not calling out his YT clip. So is die movement with the Lock & Load contraption normal? I get the convenience factor. I'm sort of out of the loop with my 1978 Rock Chucker and my 1984 Dillion 450.

Yes, it's normal. There has to be a slight play for those bushings to go in and out easily.

There is a known problem with too much and causing the powder measure to come up and out. It happened with my LnL.

A couple of 5 thousandth shims and that too out the excess slop.

Hornady will provide them if called, although the questioned me on how many rounds I've had through my press as if I didn't know what I was doing.

A link to the video would help.

The die bushings in my LNL lock up tight..no noticable movement.
