    338 lapua 250gn scenar

Help. I have a Savage 338 BA110. I'm going to reload and have a question. I have the hornady reloading manual and it gives me cartridge info for the 338 lapua cartridge ie; case length, trim length, etc. However there is no data for a 250gn hpbt using retumbo. I've done a ton of searching online and some people have posted starting loads of 90grains. Between 90-95 overall. Does any have a reference source they can refer me to. Also, is the load amount based on the bullet seated at the COL of 3.625? I know that pressure change dramatically based on seat depth.

I've done a ton of reloading of pistol rounds but this is first round for large rifle. Also, for primers I'm using cci250. Thanks for the help.

    Hogdon's sight shows 90.0 to 98.0 for a 250 grain bullet.

I saw that as well, however it produced that result with a norma case, even when entering lapua magnum case in the website. Would that be the same as with a lapua case? I know they are different but wasn't sure if that effected the load as well.
