Made Final Factory Ammo Purchase For 2017 - All Reloading From Here On Out

Since I'm not wealthy, I've been waiting for the Black Friday ammo deals to blow my final budget on something reasonable in 5.56. Aside from .22LR, I shoot more of it than anything else. I do reload it, but... No harm in having an additional 1,260 rounds on top of the current pile.
Now that's done, and I just can't really afford more "stash" factory ammo before the looming deadline.
Who else is in the same boat? What caliber will be your last to stock up on?

I haven't stacked factory ammo in 3 years since I drank the blue koolaid.

Start stacking components, they'll be coming for that next.

.38 super to complete my hoard.
I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it.

I can never have too much .45 acp ammo

I'll keep buying the 100 rd value packs by Federal or WWB

no use buying anymore aluminum cased since the brass cased is only a couple dollars extra and you can reuse the brass

Been buyin a lot, esp this year. I think I'll be good for a bit. But the moment that law goes into effect. I'll wish I had bought more. Sucks

I reload 9mm so only have a few thousand rounds each of 9mm and 45ACP. Our 45's are infrequently used. 22lr is a problem. My wife runs a 22lr in steel challenge and she practices a great deal. I have what feels like a ton of 22lr on hand and it's hard to find a place to store the stuff; tiny rounds, but when you're in the multiples of 10K it adds up fast (weight and volume)

Yeah, me. I stacked deep in .22 and .17HMR, with some 9 and 45 that I bought cheap mostly for the brass. Good to go for a couple of years on components now as well. No mas ammo/component purchases for a while for me. This last 6 months sucked my wallet down but good!

I bought 1k each of .223, 9mm, .380acp yesterday at ammo depot. FEDERAL has some rebates going on. I will make one more buy before the end of the year. I have .22lr stacked high for a couple years now. After the first of the year I will continue with reloading components for .223, 300blk, 9mm, and .380acp.

I bought another 5k of .22 this weekend, along with 2 5lb jugs of Trailboss, 1 8lb IMR 4064, 1 of Win231 and 20k various primers and enough pills to load. I am done for the next 5 years or more when I move to a free state. All DONE !!! I have been stocking up all year on components and .22, I could officially be called a Hoarder now.

bought dies for 44 Mag , now i have dies for 223.30 06 and 44 mag so i can re load those calibers.
At 70 years old my stash covers the other calibers i have plenty of to shoot.

Wish I had more funds. Still need more x39 brass case. Never enough 12 ga or 22.
I reload too but 12 ga at 5 bucks a box is cheaper than reloading. I don't have nearly enough 12 ga [emoji22] Or x39...
                        Stupid state. Sigh.

We will all wish we'd bought much more than we did after the 1st of yr IMHO.

                            My feelings exactly!
Yep, also eyeballing components, but I put every dime I could into what I can't purchase next month.
After I recover a bit financially, I'll start in on more pills, powder and primers. Plenty of .223, .45, 30-06, 7.62x39 and .38 Special cases on hand for reloading, and I'll make plenty more brass as I go along.
I also reload 7.62x54r, .30 Carbine, .357 Mag., 6.5 Rem Mag, .50 Beo and a few more calibers.
Never reloaded 9mm in the past as finding cheap factory ammo was pretty easy, but I'll be saving my cases from now on...

I have been placing monthly orders with https://www.freedommunitions.com best prices I have found anywhere and all of my orders have had free shipping. I have 12,000 rounds now and getting ready for my last order. I've never done reloading and don't have much spare time to figure things out. Looks like it cost more than I paying now so I plan order up a good supply of finished ammo that will take care of my needs for the next 10 years or so.
