    9MM

    I have 3 firearms that use 9mm.
    Only for personal/Home Defense.
I live on a 70 Acre Ranch in SW New Mexico.
I would like to purchase @ 1000 rounds of 9.

I want a clean burn, Hollow Point, something that will stand storage issues.
We have Elk, 3 type of Deer, Mountain Lions, and a small amount of **** Heads.
When they are caught-mostly in Winter when my Snow Bird neighbors head back to TX. OK. and AZ. the Burglars are mostly White Trash.
We live between Navaho, and Zuni Reservations.
    I am not a Hunter.
I am/was a member at Calguns while living in CA.
There is no better Firearm site.
However, there is no better State to live in regarding Firearm sales and regulations.
    Please advise.
    SB
    PS
Please purchase any Firearm in CA from Brian Nussbaum-Burlingame,CA.

Is there a question? Are you asking for recommendations for 9mm hp rounds?

I personally stagger/rotate a few different brands and weights of HD/SD JHP at the top of the mag, and at the end of the mag are some FMJs, just in case I get there...

OP - Google "Federal HST 9mm AmmoQuest" and watch the videos. I think that should answer your question.

            This thread is very strange.
            Don't hunt with your 9.
            Availability of 9 is everywhere.
Why do you need us to point you to it?
Again, something very wrong with this thread.

There is nothing wrong with this thread other than my lack of explaining what me basic need is, and that is I want the best 9mm ammo possible for my Sig Sauer MPX, P320, and Taurus 905.
              Thank you.

                Federal HST.
FYI, If you're going to shoot at game or varmints, get a rifle.

                  Best ammo is quite subjective.

Different guns sometimes like different ammo.

My suggestion is to buy a few boxes of different kinds of HD ammo and see which brand(s) work without hiccup, then buy that brand.

                  Good luck.
                  Sorry, not sorry.

If you live on 70 acres, you need a rifle for those mountain lions.

                    I’d look at a bolt action .308 with a nice 3x9.

I read it as problems with two legged hunter gatherers during the times homes are vacant.

That, my friend is the best way to sum up the basic "condition" of living in the "Country."
If I ever have to Hunt, I have a POF.
If I need CQC I have the Nines or Shotgun.
I want the best 9mm ammo available.
Clean Burn. Maximum Damage. Great long range hits.
I do not hunt. I do shoot.
If I need food, I will hunt.

                          Shaun,
I have plinked a bunch of Freedom Munitions 9m, both new and reloads. Good value and reasonable performance. Watch for their Thanksgiving specials.

I like Remington Golden Sabre 124gr +p ammo in my 9's... Accurate and dependable... Hot load and the bullets open up very well... SGAMMO.com or CDNN.com where I get mine.... Good luck with the trash....
                            Cheers...

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
