More details about what you mean by "old" ammo. YOu can shoot stuff loaded from the 60s if you wanted to. (or even older!)

Or is it stuff you reloaded, then forgot what you loaded it with and now it's questionable ammo?

That's a question we all have now and then. I've got a box full of odds and ends, to good to toss, not good enough to use. Not a big enough lot of anything to make it worth pulling down. Shooting it doesn't hardly seem worthwhile, just enough to dirty up the gun, but not enough to accomplish anything, other than making noise.

I need to learn to throw stuff away now and then, but I'm not sure throwing loaded ammunition in the trash is a good idea........IDK

I'll be the first to admit I've tossed unwanted/junk ammo into the trash on several different occasions. Not an issue.
