Well I started reloading recently and have really enjoyed it.Today I went to 5Dogs and fired 200 or so of my reloads.I'm happy to say that I had no Failure to fire or feed malfunctions. Was a great day to shoot in Kern.I have no photos of nice groups @100yds. but I was ring-dinging the 130 yard gong consistantly.
The rifle....Stag 161/2" 1/9 twist
The recipe..
50gr bullets of some description bought from a co-worker for $4.00 per hundred.
25gr IMR 4320 cci sm rifle primers.New winchester brass
And to top it all off when I parked there was a huge pile of good looking .223 brass in the parking lot.some of it was stepped on and crushed but most is OK.
After this successful outcome I'll be reloading 30-30 and .303 brit and some other calibers I like to use.
The only downer to the day was the fact that my sons wasr 10 broke down. But still a good day on the range.
