LNL AP - is this much play in lower hinge normal?

I sent my LNL AP to Hornady for some warranty work, they sent it back with some parts replaced and the issue I had before is gone (ram was stuck.)

Now I noticed that there's quite a bit of play in the lower hinge, it's as if there are a couple large washers missing or something but I don't remember how it looked before.

When it's in the lowest position the left side has a large gap. When it's in the upper position they gaps are even on left and right.

Is this ok?

that's fine. their are wave washers on the shafts.

I don't use grease in those fittings. I just use Mobil 1 oil. you would have to remove the shafts to clean and oil them. but every Nov, Dec I take my press apart and clean it. and lubricate with oil.

Use the zerk fittings and grease it up. Runs the press like butter

I made shims to remove that clearance, it didn't make any difference in the operation of the press, it just satisfied my OCD.

I lube the zerk fittings with grease (Mobil Synthetic), now and then. It makes the press run a little stiff for a hundred rounds or so.

sd shooter, I could not help but notice it appears you have grease worms, there is no grease on your press anywhere like the zert, toggle or the shaft.
