Get the Harbor Freight 6 inch digitals on sale for $10 and if they don't last you 4-5 years trouble free toss them and spend a $1000 to get the same precision but from one of the top names.

Kanon dial caliper. Probably 25 years old or so. Still spot on. Have a Frankfort digital in my tool box.

          this right here^^^!

i have a $10 dollar set from harbor freight and a $300 dollar set of mitutoyo's and they measure the same but the $300 dollar mitutoyo's just make me look more like a serious re-loader.

My reloading bench has a set of Japanese Yuasa dial calipers. It was my first caliper when I was beginning my machinist trade 30+ years ago.

My top box at work has a digitial Mitutoyo Absolute (and 12" dial Mitutoyo). Battery lasts for years.

My desk at work has a set of Starret dials.

The Mitutoyo Absolute is likely what I'd chose if I had all 3 in one place. Online they're under $100. HF calipers will work fine if they don't drain the battery, they just feel crappy in your hand.

Get a pair of electronic calipers from Harbor Freight. They are cheap and will work good enough for reloading.

I have some expensive Mitutoyo and Brown & Sharp electronic inspection caliper (and micrometers), but I do not use those for reloading. Plus or minus 0.002 is good enough for reloads. It isn't for rockets, satellites, and medical equipment.

Same old FUD. Suggesting Mitutoyo means SPC, carbide tipped, 12" calipers w/certs vs. $<100 run-of-the-mill 6" Absolutes.

Haven't had any trouble with the $10 harbor freight calipers. They are surprisingly accurate.

I have this Brown & Sharpe for as long I can remember. Anything from the cheapest calipers will work for you. Keep with you a pin gauge of known accuracy ($5 at McMaster-Carr) for all your measuring tools to verify the readings.

The trouble with the $10 harbor freight calipers is they eat batteries .
I / we will measure up to a thousand cases a night and maybe twice a week . [ maybe twice a week every other month .]
Anyway , the batteries are 4 for a dollar at dollar store , so now it is a practice to just change them before starting .

I only use dials, but mostly have mine for work and digital caliper are not accurate or consistent enough. Central Precision are the ones I use for loading, mitutoyo and starret for work.

For reloading , I use the digital ones [ yes I have a few .
                            I take a known good case , set to zero = easier to see =+ / - .

I use Mitutoyo. The link is below. Aside from reloading, I also do machine work. I've used Mitutoyo for my machine work before I started reloading and just stuck with them. I've had the same caliper for over 20 years now. I also have a cheap one from Amazon that I keep in my desk as a backup. Probably used the cheap one twice out of the five years I've owned it. If I didn't already own a Mitutoyo I would probably buy a cheap one. They still get the job done.
