Left facing E clip. Used for holding ammunition. See Clip or Magazine.

extra part for the top of the sizing die, also called a Jesus Christ clip, when it goes flying through a magic hiding spot never to be seen again until you don't need it because you went to 5 home improvement stores to find one, hence the name above

You definitely need it. It's a 1/4" e-clip which retains the floating decap pin. It is a wear item that's why they give you an extra.

They give you an extra, not because it a wear item, see the Jesus explanation above! When they go flying, they typically land in another time zone, on a different planet, possibly passing though a black hole on the way....

Mine actually busted while decapping 9mm, after maybe 10,000-12,000 rounds.
They sent spares, but in the mean time I had to get one at Ace's Hardware...
Mine didn't come with a spare AFAIK in ~2012.

Ok good to know especially since this morning I started doing a complete disassembly of the press to oil/grease it. Was so squeaky and the original owner said he can't remember ever doing any maintenance. Its so old it doesn't have a zerk fitting or holes for greasing on the crank. Its actually e clips holding the link arms on, not nuts so I was cautious of them flying off.

Only need to go to one place to find it... ACE is the place...

True, until you catch it in the eye. Those e-clips tend to fly off with great force. Make sure you have safety glasses on when removing or replacing them. Ask me how I know. Goggles are preferred. I caught one just under my safety glasses and it danced off my eyeball.

Yes look at your dies you will plainly see the exact part on the resizing die. A very wise man once told me "open your eyes not your mouth".
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.
