Reloading Equipment in SD?

Just wondering if any of you guys know of any places in San Diego that sell reloading equipment. I'm trying to get into reloading, I've done my reading and now I want to buy a press. I know what I want, but it always helps to see the thing in person.

you forgot to mention what type of reloader you want, so that if anyone who happens to own one in your area might let you look at their setup.

I'm going for the budget reloading setup since I'm more into the experimentation to find a 'perfect' load over volume. I only shoot 40-60 rounds a month. That said I'm going for Randall's budget setup seen in this thread http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=158086
But I won't be getting those dies as I'm looking to just get started, perhaps as I get more into it I'll get the expensive dies.

Turners - but don't buy locally. You'll end up way overspending on reloading gear.

I get most of my supplies from El Cajon Gun Exchange. The guys out there are are very helpful and knowledgeable.

If you want to get robbed, go to any local gun store like Turner's or El Cajon Gun Exchange or any of the local stores in San Diego and they will be more than happy to rob you of your hard earned money.

Smart thing would be to buy from an out of state dealer and save big time.

If you want to try out 1lb of powder at a time, Turners is ok.

All the components are pretty high locally though. I order everything online from either MidwayUSA or Grafs. Get a C&R license; it makes things a lot cheaper. And for heavens sake don't order just one thing of powder or primers online; you'll get socked for hazmat fee.

So for initial loads, one or two purchases from local stores will run you less, but ultimately you'll end up ordering everything online.

I will say that Ammobros in Cerritos has fair prices if you call ahead, and are going that way anyway. I've picked up things from them once in a while.

Good to know! I was looking at those Hazmat fees and figured that for experimentation buying locally might be better in the initial stages.

As for the actual equipment, I'll just have to wait till they come back into stock.

There's a guy at the Del Mar gun show that has some proper pricing on Dillon stuff and being a traveling road show, no sales tax..kind of makes up for the $9 entry.
