Questionable 223 Ammo

I have about 200 rounds of 223 that I can't remember how I came across it a few years back. Some of it looks like reloads (1st problem)

It seems like a lot of it has dings, nicks, etc in the cases which tells me that IF it is a reload and enough care wasn't taken for that, what other unseen problems migh there be.

I have always been of the mind that "when in doubt, throw it out", but it makes it tough to get rid of ammo these days. I thought about selling it with fulle disclosure, but really don't like the thought of anyone having a problem with it.

None of the cases are split or anything to that degree. Mostly dings in the sides, some near the should on the neck, that sort of thing.

Any ideas what to do with this stuff?

Best way is to despose of it.




































PM me where you can despose of it. I work for DBAD (Desposal of Bad Ammo Department) where our department will pay for your shipping cost to send us your ammo to despose of. We will tell you how and where we desposed it too so you'll know it was put away in a safe place. Usually its desposed of at the Range, at lane 6. :P

Is 200 rounds really worth your hands or your face?

What if there is a potential of squibs? What if there is a potential of over charge?

If you are giving them out, will you be assuming the responsibility of someone got seriously hurt?

I agree you. It boils down to "Is it worth it?" Personally I don't think it is.

"is it worth it" the way things are going and an uncertain economic future you will likely soon be figuring out a way to utilize them -- Waste not want not --

Its only 200 rounds. You can pull the bullets in a half an hour.

Toss the powder out on the lawn (supposedly its a ood fertilizer) and resue the bullets and primed brass.
