If the 308 is FGMM I'm interested
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

Ammo resale question - right forum
Ammo for sale - wrong forum

You can pick up 1000 in less than an hour if they are in a small area. Its up to you if that is worth it. Its hands and knees work.

I was trying to guage interest, before I actually picked up the brass. And it appears that there is enough interest. Once I do have the brass then I will put it for sale in the marketplace section.

Can someone tell me the going rate for the above brass?

One question asked so far is if the .308 is federal gold medal match? and the answer is yes

I'd be interested in the .308Win depending on make. Maybe the .223 also. Regarding price, since it's not processed/inspected in anyway something in the .05-.10 cents each range.

Another thing is that depending on the day, the 223 brass might be a mix of winchester and black hills. I dont know if that makes a difference.

Currently the 223 brass is going for about 6.5 cents apiece and about 7.5 cents apiece shipped per thousand. Take a look at Widener's in their reloading components section under once fired brass. Also take a look over at Cast Boolits in their swappin' section, there is a thread there with a fellow selling brass, his prices include shipping and are fairly realistic with what is out there right now. I am always looking for good deals on brass and most folks seem to ship in the USPS $10.00 flat rate boxes, you can stuff up to 50lbs of whatever in there, not that you can fit that much brass in one but you can typically get 1-2K of 223 in one.

Is it cost effective? Only if there is a market for it. Think about it this way, if they were nickles laying on the ground, could you pick up 20 of them in a minute? You know you could, that makes $1.00 per minute or $60.00 an hour. Seems like a no-brainer but it is hard on the knees and back and you have to have a market for it. If you have the opportunity to do it I would do so, what is the worse that could happen, you end up with 5 gallon buckets of brass? It will always be worth something and seeing as how it is only your time invested in it you could never sell it at a loss.

I'll be interested in all of them if the price is right.

I'd definitely buy 1K of .223 from you if it's all once-fired Winnie and/or Black Hills (they use Lake City brass, I believe).

PM me before you post it in the For Sale forum. Decide what you'd sell it for on the forum, PM me, and I'll give you $5 more for it.
