I analyzed the weights of many different 223 cases here:

The average weight across all headstamps was 97.35 grains.
These were fired cases with a spent primer.

At 97.35 grains per case, there are 71.9 cases per pound.

That's a great question. Does anyone have other standard measure info?
Like how many brass .223 cases fit in a 5 gal bucket?
Or .308 brass in a 5 gal bucket?
500 .223 loaded fit nicely in a .30 cal can
How about a .50 cal can?

So a clip that has a bullit and some powder would weight how much if you did not know the Caliber or the size of the clip Randall?

                    depends on the gun.
garand clips are heavier than M16 clips.

So lets say I have 3 clips and clip 1 has bullits and clip 2 has powder only and clip 3 has primers only and clip 4 has cases, which one would be better and how would each work for todays geo political situation?

Pour out the contents of clip 2.
Then pour the contents of clip 3 on top.
Liberally apply a sledgehammer to the whole pile.
Send the contents of clip 1 to your favorite politicians with a letter saying that they won't see the next one coming.
