    .40S&W 175gr cast with 700x question

New .40 mold 175 grain truncated flat point
    Hodgdon Hi-Skor 700x

Im having a bit of trouble finding good data for this combination, I never stray from midload data so I figure I better get a gut check on this. Lotta people in other forums just saying to go with the 180 grain data. much of a difference plus or minus 5 grains for target loads? If I follow this train of thought then:

    180 gr Barnes flat point 4.2 - 4.7 gr
    180 gr Hornady XTP 4.3 - 4.8 gr

    C.O.L. 1.125

for a mid load of around 4.4 - 4.5 gr

    With a C.O.L. of 1.125

    Thoughts?

I rolled 500 rnds of Fotay for my Gson a couple months ago.

    175 gr cast SWC....mixed cases....CCI SPMP....4.4 gr of 700x for 950fps.

Little Dandy rotor #10. Many people complain of issues metering small amounts of 700x. The little dandy has no probs and drops true within 1/10 gr.

He's fired about half, no FTF-FTE-or any other issues.

Awesome ty, beyond having a hard time getting it to meter on the case activated powder drop its a pretty good powder....my LnL doesnt like it though.
