Hey everyone,
I was lucky enough to pick up a hex Mosin Nagant for a great price and along with it came over 1k rounds of ammo.
I've tried to do as much research as possible on my own but I somehow always end up with different results as far as identification. I don't really have the means to pull a bullet and weigh it to get the weight either.
The rounds in question both have yellow tips with no other colors. Which I believe indicates heavy ball but I'm unsure of grain. Looking at the bottom of the case, one is stamped "21" ontop and "51" on the bottom of the primer. The other is stamped "270" ontop and "47" on the bottom part of the primer.
Can anyone tell me what these rounds are and approx. what they may be worth each?
