Federal American Eagle. What is Federal up to?

Federal has gone all out with this relatively new ammo line.
    So what is it?
    Is it a cheaper version?
Is it just a name they put on their ammo?
I've actually been avoiding them as they seem to be marketed as their inferior line of ammo.
Anyone doing any comparisons on AE vs other Federal products?

    Reloaders!!!
How is the brass off the AE line?

    Thoughts?

American Eagle is just branding for standard Federal ammunition intended to appeal to value shoppers in the civilian retail market. This is different than their Independence brand which is ammunition manufactured by Israeli Military Industries but sold by Federal in the retail market.

        LOL....ya.

I've shot it for like 30 years. I don't shoot much commercial ammo, but have liked AE for price conscious shooting.

That's what I was thinking........AE ammo had been around for years, it's always been solid too.
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

No problem reloading range pick ups .
Only new stuff is when nephews take someone to range - you can shoot , but buy your own ammo and I keep cases .
