WTB some inexpensive .308?

I recently bought a M1A and am looking to buy some inexpensive ammo, the gun purchase wiped me out$, Any help with a good dealer online would be greatly appreciated. Up here in Eureka ammo is scarce at the local shops, or else I would shop locally. Thanks

Welcome to Cal Guns. The days of cheap ammo are gone buddy. Not even reloading will get you cheap .308 ammo. Look at paying anywhere from .50 cents and up for a round.

He's right. You MIGHT be able to find some 7.62 NATO surplus stuff for .50 cents a round. You may get REAL lucky and find some factory stuff like chief and I did for 50 cents a round. We found some Federal stuff and I also came up on some AE stuff at 50 cents a round. Just check here frequently.

Look for indian surplus which should be cheap. Get the early stuff (1970s-early 80s) and you'll be good. My M1A loves it for plinking.
