Unless you are set up to reload them. They have no resale value. Maybe you could find someone to give them to.

JD is describing guys like me who like the Fed Champion Dark Red papers. I can get as many as 4/5 reloads on them. For light target/field loads. I have always made it a point to not litter, and pick up hulls in the field. But should you happen to lose some in the brush. Small solace in the fact that they will bio degrade, all but the case heads. Which will eventually rust away.

          Star or roll crimp?

I really have more hulls than I can use now (though I still can't break the dumpster/trash can diving habit). I grew up on paper hulls, but don't load them anymore. Used to have a heated mandrel for re-waxing the exterior.

My pop swears by paper shells, prefers them to plastic. If you think about shipping them let me know. I don't reload shotgun, not sure why he does really, lol, but paper is his bag, or whatever.

I used to prefer the paper shells in the early 80's for reloading for trap shooting. They crimp so nicely.
