    Prvi brass

hey all, bought several different calibers of Prvi ammo for my weird old milsurps and was curious if anyone has reloaded their brass. i've been saving up with the intent of having approx. 120-200 rds of brass for each caliber and you can't beat the price of Prvi for reloadable, boxer-primed brass. i'm just curious about the quality, as i've saved some brass already. don't have all my reloading kit yet so it's not a hot hurry, just figured i'd beat the bushes and see what everyone has to say. thanks!

I just got 100 pieces of Prvi for my M91/30 from Grafs. I haven't loaded it yet but it looks to be good quality. Will let you know after this weekend.

        I reload it
I'm having a brain fart right now but I want to say the primer pocket needs to be reamed a bit for reliable primer insertion (but I could be thinking of one of the many other brands Im reloading)

They worked great for my 7.62x54R. The brass seems to be a bit flimsier in the primer pocket then S&B/Winchester. No reaming needed in my case.

Didn't need to ream for my 8mm prvi.

For 223/556 you are correct. I also had to ream out the flash hole on about 50% of them.

I like Privi brass, but the rims on their 6.5x50 is a bit thick and difficult to get into the shell holder. That's really my only complaint. Not as soft as Norma brass, but I like that.

PRVI brass is good. It polishes up real nice and not too hard or soft. Similar to PMC and S&B brass that I pick up at the range. I like it better than the recent Lake Cities that seem to deeply tarnished.

I have had nothing but great results on the .556 brass. No issues with the primer pockets when inserting a new primer.
