Given odd caliber casings, What are they worth?

    What's this stuff worth?

A close family friend had her husband pass away and she gave me a box of unloaded ammo and unfired factory new ammo. It look's like its from the 50's to 70's. The list is as follows:

    1 - 20 round box - .257 Roberts
    8 - 20 round boxes - .250 Savage
    1 - 20 round box - .243 Win
    2 - 20 round boxes - .286 Win
    4 - 20 round boxes - .222 Rem

1 - 20 round box - Of loaded and unopened box of Frankford Arsenal .30 Cal Match( I Think this is .30-06)

    1 - 18 round box - of Frankford Arsenal 7.62(.308) international match.

You could probably easily sell that stuff on Castboolits/gunloads.com. Since that site specializes in casting & reloading.

      These.
      257
      250
      243
      222
      284
      30-06
      308
They will sell real fast right here but they are not rare so don't expect a so called collectors premium.
If I were still in Cal I would buy all of them.

I don't THINK any of those boxes are extremely valuable to collectors (there are no cool graphics on the covers and they aren't really that old).
So you have to consider it's just going to be used for shooting and then possibly reloading.

One way I look at to see what any type and brand ammo is selling for it is going to a website like ammoseek .com
then using their search engine to find the specific bullet, bullet weight and caliber is being sold for and it's also nice they give you a price per round in their price charts.

Congratulations on a nice score and I hope all finds a good home.

While a bit oddball perhaps, nothing there is majorly rare. A buck a round if that really. More useful fodder for someone who owns said rifles. Put them up and they'll sell here for a reasonable price but nothing there is a collector's item.

cast boolits. less than a buck a pop. But they will go quick.
