Has anyone tried midsouth shooter supply bulk bullets?

I am looking at the HP varmint nightmares in 22 and also monster match in 30 cal. Will use for AR, M1A, M1 Garand.

Used to do a lot of match shooting, don't have time anymore, looking for cheaper bullets for when I do get out to the range. Used to shoot sierra and hornady exclusively. Only going to 300 yards max.

Another alternative is the Hornady 62gr bthp that Mid South sells. The 62 I have used at 200yds on a 600yd reduced target ,100/100.

I've also bought Hornady bullets from Midsouth.
The package was ripped open. I was going to complain, but after counting, I was 3 bullets over what I bought.
Then, in the spirit of Calguns, I was contemplating sending them back their extra 3 bullets with a nasty note about not being able to count correctly.
I finally just let it go.
It still Burns me up from time to time.
      Oh well...

They are a super bullet for the price, the only problem for me is that they are flat base so they are a little harder to seat.

Sound like they're decent bullets, thanks for the input.

Hightpower790, sounds like you can be competitive with them. I was switching over to hornady 53 for the 200 yard HP service rifle matches I used to shoot. Originally used 69 grain sierra match kings...kind of overkill for 200 yards.

Any more people have experience with them??

I like the fact that Midsouth have "sample pack" of the Monster Match bullets. Their price is close to the Nosler Custom Comp blems or over-runs from Shooters Pro Shop, and they state that these are not blems. Sounds like a win-win.

Midsouth sells them as Varmint Nightmare and Midway sells them as Dogtown.
They are made by Nosler. They shoot great for me in my .223's and my .204 Ruger. Slightly less accurate in my rifles than Hornady V-Max, but way cheaper and when blasting small critters and such it's hard to tell the difference. The 34gr HP for the 204 Ruger with BLC2 is accurate. 5/8" 3 shot at 100 yards. It is explosive as Hell! I like them.
