Hi all. This may be a stupid question but here goes. I have loaded 69's, 75's and 80's in .224 but never have loaded 55's. These have a cannalure(sp?) by the way. If I seat them so that the cannalure is exposed but the bullet is seated into the neck by 3/16" is that gonna cut it or do I need to go deeper to the cannalure to be safe? I am NOT shooting high pressure rounds and these do fit into a mag, no problem. I would like an answer ASAP as I want to get some rounds loaded to shoot this afternoon. Thanks everyone.

IMO, the Horny 55gr SP bullets are the most accurate 55gr bullets I've ever shot. I seat them at 2.200" where the bottom section of the cannelure is barely inside the case and I crimp. The location of the cannelure are not always the same cause these are considered bulk bullets, not match. Just seat them at 2.200 and crimp.sigpicComment

I LOVE these bullets.
