    I scored!!!!!!!

I don't normally brag about getting a good deal but.........

So, I went to Angeles today to meet another calgunner and PPT a rifle at Angeles Armory. When we were done I went next door to the reloading store and picked up a tin of #10 caps. He asked me if there was anything else I needed. I said no and paid. Then, I said, "I might as well check to see if you have any 25-20 brass". There wasn't any on the shelf but he said "WAIT!" and pulled a zip lock baggie out from behind the counter. There were 21 once fired cases and 79 NEW cases in it. I wiped out $20, the price marked on the baggie, and couldn't believe what I had just done. I'm more excited about finding the brass than I am buying a K11 with a matching number saw tooth bayonet! The moral of the story is it doesn't hurt to keep asking for something you want. It took me three years to find some 25-20 brass at under what loaded ammo costs.

So I shouldn't have thrown that bucket full of useless to me cases in the trash the other day? They were marked 25-20 something or other. Even the bum didn't want to bother recycling them.

Lucky bugger . I am still on the hunt for real 218 Bee , not the kind you make from 25/20

Have you tried making it from 32-20 brass?

No, I've been keeping my 32-20 for my S&W or to convert into 7.62x38R.

Not to detract from your find but fyi you can form 25-20 from 32-20 just by running it through a 25-20 sizer.

Prepare to get a lot of wrinkled and unusable brass.

I tried to make 25-20 out of 32-20, and maybe 1 in 3 or 4 were successful. Necking down the 32-20 cases resulted in a lot ruined necks from folding and wrinkling. Maybe you'll have better luck.
