Any of you 6mm guys shooting these? Or try them?
If so I'm curious to know how far off or in the lands your having the best luck with them.
I'm going to test some factory hornady 108g match ammo tomorrow in my 6CM but with
.109 free bore in my rifle the factory ammo will jam .071 into the lands which I'll shoot 19 rounds of.
I bought 40 rounds to play with so I figure I'll seat 20 of the 40 deeper to match my chamber a little better...I'm guessing hornady is loading this ammo for a .183-.185 free bore.
The reason for all of this is because I ran some quick numbers and it cost me about $1.18-$1.20 to load and the 108g match ammo can be had for about $1.25-$1.30 and if I sell off the once fired brass it's cheaper to shoot the factory ammo...IF it shoots well enough I may just shoot factory ammo the rest of the year.
