    Feels good...

Been a long time since I spent time on the reloading bench because I lost interest for a while.... feels good to be back at it again, wanted to share my most recent accomplishment.

I was pretty much out of ammo, so I was basically forced to get off my duff and get to work.

I didn't really skip a beat once I got back at it either, but I did forget how painstaking brass prep was for rifle ammo.

I figure I get some new once fired LC brass and make a big batch.

Ran into some new challenges... had to rig up some external 12v power because I kept running out of battery pack, and the change in speed as it drained gave inconsistencies.

Got some new components for a existing load that I worked up in the past... shoots well.

Busted out the like new and lightly used toys...

Check my work... excellent consistency across the batch.

    Time for the range...

Nice! I was in the same boat as you . Dint touch my supplies for about 8 months until a week ago. Loaded about 300rounds of .40.

I am going to be loading some 45-70 for my trapdoor tonight when i get home form work and I am actually looking forward to that

That's purdy. How many rounds fit when you stack them that way? And how long did it take you to stack them? [emoji6]

Working my way back into it too buddy, good job! I'm not nearly as clean or organized, lol, but I do go out of my way to be cautious and precise.

No where as long as it took me to actually make them... it actually went by pretty fast. Maybe 10-15 min.

That is 400 rounds of 308 with a little room to spare.

I didn't have enough of those MTM ammo boxes and didn't want to just throw carefully made match ammo loose into a can.

The way its stacked actually protects the bullet and tip rather well.

Nice - When I was doing rifle cases - it was on a single stage . Some of my nephews got 762 and 308s before deadline .
They had seen and done pistol cartridges - big surprise - it takes a lot longer to do bottle necks .
They were even more surprised how much more accurate a bolt action is to their semi's .
Wife made Spaghetti and they will be here pretty soon .
I have already deprimed cleaned and reprimed about 600 cases - they can set up powder drop - etc .
I finished 5 boxes of 20 for the 50 AE and a couple hundred 45 ACPs . They were deprimed cleaned and reprimed last night [ nothing on TV but reruns ] so they went quick .
A quick question - is there an easy way to put the bullets in tubes fora Lee load master ? Cases ? Doing by hand .
Yes , I use the cotter pin on the tubes -
            Thanks
