    dillon 650 ejector wire

Has anyone had issues with the ejector wire on the Dillon 650. The issue I am having is the wire keeps coming off. I looked online and have seen some people actually secure the wire under the shell plate bolt, others secure it around the shell plate bolt. I have tried both. Around the bolt it comes off pretty frequently, when I secure it under the bolt it causes issues at times with the shell feeding into station 1, and it does not rotate as smooth.
I have ordered a new ejector wire, and I am looking to see how most people secure it.

    Thank you

You shouldnt need to secure it in any fashion. Im willing to bet somewhere along the way it got bent somehow and is just riding up as brass rubs against it on the way to the bin. Try and bend it a little and shove it back in the whole see what happens. Ive not done nothing more than bend one and both my machine runs smooth.

If you have modified the shell plate with a different washer or the needle bearing/washers combo, then you might have to bend the ejector wire. The wire should sit around the bolt, not under. If it still gives you issues, just call Dillon as stated previously for a new ejection wire. Once in a while, my brass gets hung up on the ejector wire(mostly on .40 cal). I just rub the wire with a light coat of grease.
