    It "could" be a typo on their part as 242 is a perfectly plausible sectional density (SD) for a 100 grain .243 bullet. Are you certain you read it correctly? Also, the difference isn't 1/100, it's 1/1000.

      .243 is just the name. For example the correct bullet diameter for a .223 chamber is .224 inches in diameter.
