Wheres all the ammo cans?

Looking to get a couple 50 cal ammo cans. Where are they.
Only can find commercial plastic boxes.

Have several thousand rounds to store.

Gun shows.

I watched a guy buy 120 .50cal cans at the last show I attended. Seemed like it took about a half hour to schlep them all out on a dolly. Kinda made me jealous.

Last Del Mar Gun Show (two weeks ago) I picked up a few and was surprised how expensive they were (3 for $33).

Check Craigslist. I see them come up occasionally. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a bunch from this guy on Craigslist.

Have you checked out the Army/Navy store @ College Oak and Auburn? Last I checked they didn't have any .50 cal cans, but they did have night vision cans that are about twice the height and only were $15 bucks each. They are lined with foam, but you can pull that out. I bet you can store 2k rounds in these bad boys! Get two and split the load.

ill have to try locally i guess cause shipping is a pain. i remember i bought them for 2 dollars 2 years ago with no additional shipping cause that's where they put my ammo in to ship.

lol thanks but my arm is shorter than that, how will I ever get ammo from the bottom without poring them out. I just want 50 cal cans because I have several and want them to match.
