    My Little Helper

My now 5 year old Grand Daughter wanted to help PopPop with more reloading while she was down this past week so I showed her how to size and de-cap 9mm and off she went. She had to use all of her body weight to cycle the ram but did not want my help. Last year she help me charge some .223.

    That's awesome!
Try putting a few boxes of bullets in her pockets.
Maybe that will help cycle the press.

Gunna need something huh. She actually leaned over the arm to push it down and got off the stool to push it back up. I reached in to help and she said "I got this PopPop".

Her own press with a longer handle.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Watch her fingers! I've rammed mine sticking them in near the top of the stroke. Hate to pinch little fingers in there.
Is that a homemade auto-eject there?

                  Fingers were first lesson. LOL

Yes it's homemade. Literally cuts the time in half.

Google "case kicker" and you will see what I saw. I used a large hose clamp to form the kicker itself because it is springy, and made the bracket and slide from stuff I had laying around.

BTW, I got that 3-D printed primer catcher off eBay. No more stopping to empty or unclog the stock RCBS unit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RCBS-Reloadi...93rvI6Fk-0UzxQ
