Bench Mounted powder measures

Hi there.
I'm trying to get into reloading handguns ammunition, I just got a single stage RCBS press,
some reloading manuals, dies, scale etc.....
I really need some recommendations on a bench mounted powder measures, I was doing some research and I found this.

but if you guys have any better suggestions it will be gladly appreciated...

RCBS Uniflow is pretty good and you can get micro adjuster stem for them with either pistol or rifle cylinders.

i just read a book by Glen Zediker (competitor & author).... he highly recommended Harrell powder measures

What are you reloading for? That is a bench rest shooter measure. You can almost buy a complete reloading kit for that. I don't compete or shoot well enough to get my moneys worth out of something like that. I use a $30 Lee perfect measure since it throws stick powder to .2 of a grain consistently. I use RCBS Uniflow for ball powders.

I have a Rock Chucker, bought in 1978 as a kit with the Uniflow. Working just fine. I did add the Micrometer adjustment, makes it easier to set, and the powder baffle. I mounted it on a separate accessory mounting plate so I can clamp it to the desktop that I use as a reloading station. The press is mounted on a permanently installed accessory plate. I have a Charge Master too, but only use it for rifle loads, the handgun loads go much faster with the Uniflow, using the Charge Master as a check scale.

The specs on that call out 5 grains minimum and 9mm loads are in the neighbor hood of 3.5, 45 at 5.5 or so to start.
Looks like a good powder measure for rifle reloading. I started out with basic stuff to learn on and upgraded as I learned and got a better feel for what I was doing. I kept all my old stuff since I like to keep back up equipment around. I don't reload for handgun but maybe the handgun reloaders will recommend a thrower for you.

I have to say the Harrell's Precision powder throw is awesome. A friend let me try his Harrell's thrower...it's like crack.

Once you use it, you don't want to go back. I had to go out and get one.

I have the RCBS Uniflow and have used them for years. They work well and very accurate.
I actually have 2. One is set-up with a small drum and the other with the large drum. The large drum is not used much now that I use an electronic measure for most rifle rounds.

I have a top o the line Harrels. Love it. Extremely happy I got it 7 years ago.
