Factories produce "factory" ammo.
If you buy brand new virgin brass and load it, those are "handloads".
When you load brass that's already been loaded one time before, those are "reloads".

You use a "reloading" press to make handloads.

Yes, Randall, I do believe that all my reloading gear has paid for itself already. And further more, good thing that I got it when I did bro and I ordered all the components before the frenzy.

There's a frenzy on components every 5-10 years.
Prices won't drop too much after the frenzy, but availability will improve.
I give it 6 months tops.
Then everyone will be stocked up to the level where they are not buying anymore.
Then prices will settle in for the next 4 years or so before some new law gets proposed because some new idiot shoots up a school...

Not to mention that new brass is not necessarily sized correctly.
It's just simply new virgin metal, but nevertheless may still need good sizing action by the dies.
