DM 41 Weichkern is the West German battle cartridge for the H&K G3. "Weichkern" means "soft core". It's considered an excellent and very destructive bullet design.

Your DM 41 is German Army surplus ammunition, with 100% certainty. That stuff is quite rare...I've never seen any DM 41 outside of my Bundeswehr time. It is not corrosive. Save it for special applications, don't shoot it at mere paper.

Again, no. That is not alot. I currently have about 16k rounds of 7.62x51 and it is really not that much. I still have about another 6k that I need to reload. I honestly think that having a lot would be like maybe once you have like over one hundred thousand rounds. LOL.

Speaking of Nato ammo.. I've had them since 1994 from Seller & Bellot to others. Just recently purchased a 700 Remington VTR. My question is: can I use the nato 7.62x51 nato on a specified 308 winchester?

The simple answer is yes you can. 7.62 NATO is safe to shoot in a .308 chamber. .308 may not be safe for a 7.62 NATO chamber.

There are alot of variables involved between 7.62 NATO and .308 that make them different. Google it to find out all the details.

I don't even have 250 pieces of 308 brass, I should've bought those Hornady match brass when they were still $32 per 50 pcs.
