Ordering dillon gear - From where

Who should I order my setup from? Is one vendor better than another as far as taxes or shipping?

Planing on buying a 650 with case feed for 9 and 40.

I ordered mine through Discount Shooters Supply in Roseville. Still waiting for it to come in, hopefully this week. I picked up the 650 too with 9 & 45 dies and will add the 223 fixins in the future. They are an authorized Dillon seller and I liked being able to walk in and discuss the options. I didn't get the case feeder and I was still $1,450 OTD.

I did get the Dillon 750 tumbler with the package, really like it so far but don't waste your money on the Lyman Corncob ($17.00 for 6 lbs.). I picked up a 25 lb bag of crushed walnut from PetSmart for $30 and it works much better.
    **** your feelings!

If you are ever in the Reno area, Scheels in Sparks is a Dillon dealer. They have everything in stock, and good salesman who know the product. I got my 550 there

I recently purchased a Dillon XL650 with a case feeder and several other Dillon goodies from Extreme Reloading in Henderson, Nevada. (https://www.extremereloadingnv.com/)

In my research they had the best prices for what I wanted to purchase, did not charge sales tax for California residents, and if you use discount code UT716 you will receive free shipping on the Dillon products.

They shipped almost immediately after my order was placed, and everything arrived two days later.

All in all it was an easy transaction for me with zero hassles or drama.

You could also check with Brian at OC Reloading by Angel Stadium. He has good prices and a large in-stock inventory.

I would buy online from one of the reputable dealers that doesn't charge shipping. Dillon is strict on its minimum pricing, and so everyone charges at least the same amount. Ordering from out of state will avoid the sales tax.

If you buy from DSS (who is a Dillon dealer) you'll pay Dillon pricing +10% ish in tax. And they'll be ordering direct from Dillon anyways, so you'll still have to wait for your stuff. Order direct, save yourself 10%

6.8 is correct about the actual pricing. If Cabelas sold it (They don't), you could use certificates.
I think your best bet is Amazon Prime. But you will pay tax.
If you are a betting Man, you could try e-Bay. Same price but no tax.
FYI, I bought Forster dies off E-Bay and they were factory fresh. No complaints from me.
I still cringe when I buy off E-Bay though.

I ordered direct from Dillon. It may have cost a bit more but it was easy and fast.

I used to buy from Brian Enos. He sends people through https://krakenpop.com/ now.

Don't buy gun stuff from Amazon and Ebay. Especially not Ebay. Things are usually overpriced when compared to doing your homework and finding a proper firearms accessory dealer.

Why complicate things? Just order direct from Dillon. No sales tax, and CA is in UPS 2 day zone from AZ for ground shipping. Order it today and if they ship it today you will get it Thursday.

In my experience Amazon has the lowest prices for the majority of reloading equipment they stock, combined with prime shipping and easy returns/exchanges its hard to beat. Gun cleaning supplies are also very cheap.

I bought my 1050 on eBay from Pioletti defense. Much better prices shipped than Dillon and they have packages with all the bells and whistles that are very well priced. I used to buy from Brian Enos exclusively but now that he is out they are the best option I have found.

I originally bought my 650 from Brian Enos. After I bought it, I had a basic question he couldn't answer, and I needed to ask Dillon.

You don't save very much at all, so IMO it's easier to order from Dillon and what I have done since when I need parts.

I just use Graf and sons for quick shipping and everything I need is always in stock for my 650. Couldn't really save enough money anywhere else to justify changing. They often have free shipping deals too.
