One set up for small primer, one for large. The one with the case feeder is small primer and used for case prep and pistol and 223. the other one is used for large rifle. It eventually gets a case feeder for large pistol.

prep is really dominated by the universal decap. Not much else to do. trim die I guess

next step after that is to get bullet feed equipment up.

For case prep, do a pre-wash of the cases in a rotary tumbler with no steel pins, dry, then run them through a tool head that resizes, deprimes, swages and trims.

Depending on the quality of the trimmer, you can go straight to a wet tumble and dry the cases before the reload step.

If the trimmer doesnt deburr and chamfer, you'll need to do that before the wet tumbling process.

Thanks dude, that makes the most sense. Swapping primer disk is by far the most time consuming swap. Rest is easy.

To trim, I use that "lil Badger" adapter with a Bosh router and milling bit, all mounted on a Dillon trimming die.

I've been reloading for a few years now and cleaning is where I feel you need to do it at scale. I use 3.5 cu/ft cement mixer with steel pins, dish soap, lemishine and call it a day. The mixer makes it easy to do large batches and rinse without buckets

Once the brass is fully processed, I throw it in the dry media vibrating with polishing liquid. Gives a brand new look. Pistol rounds I usually throw live rounds in the vibrating bowl. "but what if a round goes off"... no way and if it does, better in the cleaning shed than in my face.

OK, so I have to ask you now. Do you have a pic of your trim setup? I want to see how you mounted a router to a die.

And I've mused for a long time about stainless pins run in an an angled bin, interested in hearing how it's working for you. Specifically, how noisy is it? Would you be OK with working in the same space your tumbler is running, could you hear the radio, etc?

I wish I could get a 1050 just for brass prep... Decapping, swage, size, trim, all on one press. I'd give my left nut to have a 1050 for prep and 650 for loading.
