RCBS rebate

OK on December 28th I purchased a bunch of RCBS stuff, to take advantage of their $75.00 rebate. Offer on the RBCS web site clearly says "Offer valid on all RCBS products."

Now when I try to enter the data in the online website to "prequalify" for the rebate, I enter the UPC and it tells me "the UPC you entered is not eligible for this rebate." It does this for the Rock Chucker Supreme Press, for the Chargemaster Dispenser & Scale, for the Universal Hand Priming Tool...

Anyone else have this problem? Should I just send the paper form?

OK, OK, I was not firing on all eight cylinders when I did that.

The secret is that the UPC has to have 12 digits. So there are 10 digits under the bar code. There is an additional (tiny!) digit to the left of the bar code, and another to the right. So if you enter all 12 reading from left to right it works fine.

You need to cut the UPC codes from the boxes and mail them in, along with your receipts.

I sent in my rebate with the outer shipping box barcode from the Rock Chucker Supreme Master Kit.

I had just dropped the completed rebate forms/barcodes/receipt in the mail, then as I was cutting up the boxes for the trash I noticed that the inner retail box for the kit had it's own barcode.

Oops.

I get caught every time I try that. She's smarter than I am and she notices anything new or out of place

Got my $75 check this past Friday(1/13) and I mailed out my form the during the first of week of December.

I mailed my rebate form on 11/28 and received my check yesterday. After the rebate, my total cost was $218 for the Rockchucker supreme master reloading kit and a set of 30-06 dies. Great deal!

Outer box barcode worked. Got my rebate in March.
