Primer Swagging on Cheap Lee Press

I already have a RCBS primer pocket swager and I use it on my Lee "O" frame. But its load and hard on the desk where I have loading setup. I was wondering if anyone has used this press for swagging...

I want to set it up in the garage with on my heavy duty bench with my tumbling stuff. Then I can deprime and swage and toss my brass right into the tumbler.

I have the RCBS unit but never use it since I got the Dillon Super Swager. Faster and less work.
To your question ---that press will work.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

I use the RCBS swager and an O frame press for swaging, an older Pacific, and its loud and hard and no press is going to change that.
Fear is the spare change that will keep you broke

Call him run-like-hell-when-shtf-guy or dial-911-guy but NEVER call an unarmed man "Security".

If you have a spare single stage or turret you can buy a CH4D swaging kit for like $30-35

Thats neat thank you. But if I had a spare press I wouldn't have posted this thread, lol.

I'll likely just pick up a cheap Lee, thanks all.

I already tried that one. I bent it. the swager didn't line up anymore.
did you try putting a drop of oil on the swager. makes life a lot easier.

The RCBS swager is a bear to use fast. Dont pour any more money into it.

If you want a better swager, the Dillon unit I have seen at work, much faster.

I have the RCBS, I am being patient with it until I can find enough justification to upgrade.

Damn. Well thanks for letting me know.

I haven't tried the oil. I think I'll try some case lube though!

if you oil the primer pocket swager, make sure you wash out the oil.

make sure you have clearance between the press and the stripper. I had an issue with a lyman turret that wouldn't clear the stripper. I solved the issue but couldn't use the same technique on the lee press.
