Internet Ammo Purchase in 2017

Almost convinced my folks to move...
They are getting old, so if I left them here, as they age and have more medical issues, I would feel bad I couldn't help them.

My brother and sister are useless, and homeless, so they can't help.

I just hope that if I can make the move I can make a good income in AZ...

Take care of family. My mom and dad live 15 minutes away. Big brother lives in SoCal, so his ability to help out 'hands-on' is limited. My Dad's health has been steadily declining over the last year or so. Me and my wife have been a constant fixture over there helping them out. Unfortunately, my dad passed a few months ago at 84. Now, it's just my mom (82). She's in great health, but needs a lot of help sorting thru all of the finances, dealing with attorney's, paper work, online bill-pay etc etc etc. Still need to help her out. Looking back on the past year +, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm glad I was there for them.

Family is a priority.

You are a good son. I am amazed at how many family members just ignore their parents when the parents are in need. My Dad lives three hours from us and has a ton of medical issues. Thank God he married a woman who was a nurse, she takes good care of him, she used to work for a large medical provider and knows all of the ins and outs of his afflictions. If he hadn't married her or if they divorced, I would make him sell his house and move in with us for the remainder of his life. Stints, pacemaker, physical issues with legs, balance, fatigue, just had Thyroid out, he is a giant mess physically.

My Mom remarried too, her husband is a GREAT guy who has been afflicted with multiple strokes, diabetes, he is a mess and semi-invalid. Mom is also afflicted with multiple ailments, foot, knee problems but worse of all, she is afflicted with denial. When I press her for what she needs/wants to keep things going, she is just in denial, "everything is fine". Short of me or my sister getting power of attorney, not much we can do other than keep it cordial and wait for the inevitable. You can't really help someone who doesn't want help.

Everyone ready for a tax increase? The millions in lost sales tax revenue from the ban on ammo sales will have to be replaced somehow.

With the anti-gun whackos in Sacramento and all of Bloomberg's money flooding into the state to support them, I'm fully expecting there to be new restrictions placed on ammo purchases in 2017. It won't surprise me one bit if we are limited to 1 box of ammo at a time by January 1, 2018. I was actually at the range today and was talking to some kids about it and one guy in his 20's shooting his friend's AR was of the opinion that a limit seemed like "a fine idea".

One thing to note about the way the current law is written - my understanding is that there is no restriction to "giving" ammo to someone, and for a non-CA resident there is no restriction against bringing ammo into the state. Does anyone else think that these idiots in Sacramento might have just created a giant black market for ammo in CA...? New revenue source for the gangs, I guess...

I've been buying bulk monthly for the last year and have enough for 5 to 6 years.
I'm hoping the law is overturned in that time frame.
Otherwise, I am hoping LAX takes the high road and becomes our SoCal bulk vendor at decent prices.

Tomorrow we will if any online shop will stop selling to CA, not liking the hassle of CA laws

I just placed an order with Ammunition Depot and asked in the comments section if they'd still be selling to California in 2017. I got an immediate response of yes. Of course, there may be some outfits who won't.
