    Armscorp .223 62 gr bullets

Anyone having good luck with Armscorp 62gr FMJBT bullets? I bought a bunch of them because they are available but I'm only getting about 3" groups at 100 yards with them and BLC2. Using 748 tightens the groups somewhat but not enough. I thought it was me and my aging eyes but when I tried some 68 gr Hornady BTHP loads they went into the X ring and the groups were nice and tight.

I used BLC2 for the Armscorp bullets and WW748 for the Hornadys. going forward I'm going to reserve the BLC2 for .308 and 748 for my .223 reloads.

Is it worth separating the Armscorp bullets by weight or is 2-3" all I'm ever going to get from them no matter what I do?

A 62gr bullet from Armscorp is nothing more than a ball equivalent bullet.Dont expect anything better than what your getting now!
    Keep it simple!

if you want accurate bullets use match grade like sierra smk 69 or nosler 69 grain bullets im sure there are others out there but these are ones i have used with succes and 335 powder.

Any 55or 62 fmj is just a plinker not a bullet to put mulitples up a knats azz.

I use 55fmjs for plnikers on steel plates to a couple hundred yards they hit the steel just dont know exactly whrere though.

That's about what I'm getting with them in my Mini-14 with 25.3gr of blc2. 12oz soda can accurate at 100yds.

3 MOA was all I got with Armscorp bullets. Went back to Hornady 55gr, 1 MOA all day.
