      3) Wet tumble with SS media in either Dawn or wash/wax with Lemishine

Use both. Lemishine is citric acid. Its to remove the tarnish. Only use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon at a time. For the price of lemishine, you can get a few pounds of food grade citric acid from Amazon. It will last forever, and its great for flushing out the radiator in your car.

I use lanolin alcohol mix for lube, and I wet tumble in hot water. If there's lots of lube on 308 cases, it will require a second quick tumble to remove it all.

You might be able to get away with leaving the die, but its not worth it. You could leave the cases dry, but run the risk of a stuck case. You could lube the cases, but run the risk of neutralizing the primer and it gets messy. The resizing die is the easiest die to set, so Id take it out.
