    Length Matters

Am in the process of working up the ultimate round for ruger precision rifle in 6.5 creedmoor.
With a 140 grain hybrid Berger bullet, it measures out to 2.936 to Lands. Subtract .020 for the jump and I end up with 2.916 length for the round. Problem is, I cannot find a magazine long enough to fit my rounds into.
Have tried knights amory, and an AICS style magazine from Brownells. Always come up lacking .025 from reported optimal length.
    Any suggestions?
Could try a different bullet but this Berger has really good BC.

loaded to the lands with most if not all bullets will likely restrict you to single load usage.

Why are you set on 0.020" to the lands? Assuming you want to mag feed, my recommendation, set your OAL to about 0.020" short of magazine length. Do a load workup from there, then play with seating depth from there.

thanks guys. Figured I was at the max length to fit in a magazine, just hoping Santa may have a special magazine that would fit the long ones!
