    Primer Prices @ Bass Pro

I was at Bass Pro Shop in Manteca today and almost s$%^ my pants when I saw Winchster primers for $54 per 1000. Remington Primers were going for $49 per 1000

Anyone else out there seeing price gouging at this scale?

They used to have Remington 7-1/2 for $17.99 per brick for the first 4-5 months BPS was open in Rancho. It was only for the Remington 7-1/2. All the other primers were $35 per brick and higher.

I would buy up every brick they had everytime I was in the area. Then one day, one of the guys at my club went there and they had raised the price because there was a pricing mistake. That's when they raised it to $49.99 per brick. I'm amazed they sell any primers at that price.

      Fowler's sells primers at $30 / 1k. $50 is just too much.

Why would you buy primers in Bass Pro? I was there 3 times since it's opened up in the Victoria G. All 3 times I had the same experience. EXPENSIVE. Last time 3 days ago I was looking for primers and powders, because I'm out and missed the last gun show in OC.,and I want load some of my 308 cases. Winchester primers Large Rifle $5.99/100 powder H. Varget $25.99/lb so forget it. When next time I will put my feet in there, only if I need a camouflage underwear.

I don't buy primers there...I was picking up some new waders that were on sale, and walked by to see what they had...OMG that shocked me!

I buy my primers and powder at Sac Valley Shooting Center, a couple of weeks ago I got some CCI primers for $25 per brick plus the member 10% discount!
