    Sig Sauer MPX

    I just got one.
I am not sure what type of ammo to use.
    The SS is a 9MM.
I just read that there was a difference between rifle and handgun 9MM ammo.
I bought this SS specifically to keep my firearms either 9MM or 12 gauge.
I want to purchase @ 3000 rounds of 9 to use in my SS for training.
My girlfriend has a Taurus 905, I have a SSP320, now the MPX.
    Any recommendations?
I do not want the cheapest, or the most expensive.
I want the best for all my 9's.
    Any suggestions?

My mpx has shot all 9mm I have put through it, including steel case. Some of the most common is 115gr and 124gr. Check out this site for great prices.

I recently started reloading 9mm - are you guys asking this because I see 9mm varies quite a bit on OAL?

As much as some guns can't load it due to being too long? Correct?

        Thank you

I would like a clean burning powder to minimize any "dirt" in this new rifle.
        SS-MPX 9MM, SS P320, Taurus 905 for my girlfriend.
Please let me know if this is a concern for all firearm owners.
        I have a 6.8 and a couple of 12 gauges too.
I am not new to firearms.
I have been shooting since 1971.
        I was @12, as a Boy Scout.
These seem like very basic questions, however, lots of "gun people" probably go through their lives without understanding the Basics of ammo.
        Help anyone?
        Kind Regards.

I went with CFE Pistol. W231 wouldn't cycle my MPX

Mine didn't like some of my 147 gr loads. Had cycling issues. They may have been a tad underpowered for the mpx though, can't remember the load exactly. I've since loaded some 124 gr with HS6 and they function flawlessly.

My 8" MPX has functioned fine on everything. My light loads for a lightly sprung G34, that don't cycle in anything else, work fine in it, and my 16" 9mm AR.
