Armscor 62gr Bullets

Graf and Sons is having a special on .224 62gr FMJBT Armscor Bullets. I have never heard of/used this brand. Anyone have a good or bad experiance with it?

I have been loading Hornandy 55gr FMJBT bullets for my carbine to this point, but am thinking a heavier bullet may have better performance. But I don't want to waste my time if this brand is no good

these are worth a shot! haha id buy some but I dont have a reason to, if im just plinking 55 gr is good enough.
heck the hornady stuff was cheaper at 80$ per 1k

well, I am going to sleep on it and I might just order 2k to see how they are. We should have a thread that has all the different websites that sell reloading stuff, it would make it much easier to hunt for bargains. LOL

Oh, trust me, I think that they will serve me good. I just hate buying just 500 and finding out that I do like them and having to pay again for S/H. Buying in low quantities is not worth it because you don't save any money.

They're a good deal and ARMSCOR is ok stuff. Especially for bulk bullets.

I shoot armscore 45 230g for IDPA and general shooting. They are as accurate as the Hornady FMJ's for 1/2 the price. I push them w/ 6g Unique at about 850-880fps.

i know this is a old thread, but i load and shoot the armscor 55gr FMJBT bullets all the time. they shoot 1 hole groups all day from every single 223 i own loaded with 23.5gr of hogdon H-322 powder ,LC or commercial brass and smal regular CCI rifle prmers. very happy with them, and the price is right. i bought 500 winchester 55gr FMJ awhile back, and the armscors shoot WAY better.

i also shoot the 62gr, and they are also sweet
