    Everybody is looking for that.
Unfortunately, there are few with a good selection of in-stock components inventory at this time.

      Slim pickins everywhere my friend.
I called a good friend back in Arizona. He's picked up 5k primers and some powder for me. He's driving out here on business next week.
A bottle of Kettle One was good incentive to get him to make the stop. Sure hope I get drawn for an AZ Elk tag this year. -g

I burned myself by ordering a relative small quantity of powder and primers online. The hazmat fees are very high for this stuff and I would suggest visiting your local supplier for these items, assuming he spreads the fees out over many customers. I've had good luck with Midway and Starline for bullets and brass, respectively.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice, in practice, there is.

Grafs is great, but their shelves are pretty stripped right now.
Fortunately, I got some powder at the Costa Mesa show.

Around here, there is no real place that carries 8lb jugs of powder. I was forced with either paying the $24.99-$30.00 eight times, or going online and paying the hazmat. I wound up saving $96 from just ordering online then going and paying for eight 1lb jugs + the taxes.

It sucks, but thats how I'm justifying it. I ordered 8lbs of Powder last night, should be here next week. Now I just need to buy my 1k of plinking bullets.. 168g BTHP's.

Luckily, I've just been doing pistol reloading only (thus far) and a pound of powder will stretch out for over 1000 rounds. That's enough to last me a couple months.

But with the difficulty of getting primers, I might just start buying components as I come across them. I was looking at Powder Valley last night and they seem to be all out of small rifle primers.

Even with a 03 FFL, I like www.powdervalleyinc.com prices over Midway for reloading. In part they sell larger bulk options

Keep looking, the componets are out there. You just need to find a lot of different site and check them continually.

Yeah, but one site may have one or two things, another one or two others, but nobody has any selection of the more popular supplies and the multiple hazmat charges are killers. Wastes a lot of time shopping around and not even being sure if the "in stock" indicators are even correct.

You either want it or you don't. Didn't say it was cheap, just they are availeble if you look.

                              Try Bruno's at http://www.brunoshooters.com

They've had the best prices on VV powder that I've found, and often have it in stock when others don't. But with the Big O in office now, there has been a run on supplies (not to mention the things we feed supplies into), so it might take a little time to restock the pipeline.

I recall when Klinton was in office, there was a rumor that primers were going to be removed from general circulation. Everyone bought up primers by the brick and you couldn't find any for quite some time. I expect we'll see a rebound in inventory after a couple of months, but I'm sure the manufacturers recognize that this demand bubble is just that, and they won't ramp production significantly.
