120 GMX seating depth

Normally I load 140 ELD in 6.5 Creedmoor at a COL of 2.81
In order to do some coyote hunting, obviously I need non lead.
140 gr. is not available in GMX, so I went with 120 gr. GMX
Hornady book says COL is 2.71. Is there a specific reason for this?

I know for Barnes I often have to seat shorter. They like significant jump and the bullet's ogive is pushed forward due to less dense metal.

That's a stout bullet for yotes though.

If it were me I would load 100gr TTSX. They work! Took a sheep--one shot dropped were it was--in a 264win mag at 3664FPS. I also use them in my 6.5X55.
They need jump and speed to work well.

That 120gr GMX is like shooting a 156gr lead core bullet.
