Unless you have a real good reason to shoot ammo at a living target it is all practice ammo.
Some people will do skanky things for $25, and not all those people are crack whores.

By labeling somthing "practice" in the ammo world it generally means that it is less reliable. Ive heard of SPEER doing similar on their GDHP rounds and I am assuming this is a similar situation that Federal LC is doing here.

More than likely it was rejected during QC for the Military. So instead of scraping it they sell it on the civilian market. The military regects for many reasons, I would have no problem or worries shooting this ammo.

          Just a thought..

Remember that some shooting ranges don't allow steel core ammo to be shot at their range. ( I think green tips are steel core, no??) If you shoot in a public land area you may also not be able to shoot it either because of the risk of sparks and causing a fire. That's how it is down here in San Diego and and my range.

I recently saw some Winchester SXZ ammo at bass pro. they had this little video playing on a 9 inch screen about this new ammo. Its suppose to be 2 types, one for practice and other is for self defense.

i duno if this new marketing will work or not.

The green tips are steel core.

I have no problems using this ammo as well. If you dont want it give it to me.
